Working for else vs working for ourselves

Just entering this world of blogging with a thot of becoming one's own boss. Just because one is employed does it mean that he/she is not his/her own boss ? Is becoming your own boss just ends up in earning for one self or is it just a misconception....I have been in a dilemma for the last couple of months to quit or not. Let me see if there are any fellowmates who think its a brave decision to quit ones job and start a venture on its own..let the thots flow ....
